Boy accidently kill friend

An 19 year old male from George is expected to appear in the Thembalethu Magistrates Court on Friday 21 September 2018 on a charge of murder.

The young man was arrested shortly after accidentally shooting his 18 year old friend. The victim who may not be named yet died at the scene of the shooting.

It is alleged that the boy was trying to remove the magazine from the firearm when a shot went off, fatally wounding the victim. The suspect was arrested shortly after the incident and charged with murder.

According to police, the suspect was with a group of friends when one of them produced a firearm.
